Slicer
We cook all our own cooked meats on the premises and there are no artificial additives or colourants. We can slice cooked and raw meat to order.

Sausages
We make all our own sausages and sausage meat and have a wide range of varieties to choose from and we also can make up a sauages to personal specifications. We also do gluten free and haggis.

Vac Pack
We pre cut and vac pack to customers requirements. All vac packed products are packed fresh to guarantee a two week shelf life. We also serve to the retail trade to cater for holiday periods. We ensure that all products are clearly labeled and dated.

Cutting Of Fresh Meat
We cut and pack our own prepared meat to meet customer requirements i.e. size of cuts or quantity. We have fully qualified staff to help you with the type of cuts and meat you require.

Slaughtering
At J E Cook Butchers Ltd we are quite unique as we slaughter all our own beef and lamb in our own registered abattoir EEC No. 4083, in line with the cutting plant and shop for retail and catering so we can guarantee tracablity and quality.

Shop
The shop is open plan so that the production of our own sausage meat and other products is fully in view. We also have a wide selection of cuts and products on show in refridgerated cabinets at the front of the shop. All staff are knowledgable and helpful. The shop is open from 7am until 5pm Tuesday to Friday and 7am until 12.30pm on a Saturday. We are closed all day Monday.

Hanging Of Beef
We hang all our beef for 14 - 21 days As the slaughtering is completed on site we have the facility to be able to hang the meat for longer periods and if required this can be catered for. You can also visit the shop to select your own cuts if required.

Cooked Sausage Display
We have got a wide selection of sausage, burgers, kebabs, grill sticks, grills, gluten free products, glazed and plain drum sticks and sliced cooked meat platters to order.

Refridgerated Vehicles
We have fully refridgerated delivery service throughout the North West of England so your products arrive as fresh as they left our premises.

Livestock
We source all our own live stock these are all pre selected from local farms in the area by Anthony and Michael Cook, so they can guarantee tracablity and quality of all our products.
